Making a gift in your Will

The Ballet Foundation of New Zealand Trust

The Ballet Foundation of New Zealand Trust is an independent charitable trust (registration number CC47241) created to support, promote and advance classical ballet in New Zealand.

If you would like to support the long term future of the Royal New Zealand Ballet please consider supporting the Foundation, in particular, by making a gift in your will. The Foundation aims to build up an endowment fund from which it will make grants in support of professional classical ballet in New Zealand. Your gift, no matter what the size, will offer lasting support to the RNZB and help to ensure that the living artform that you love today continues to flourish in the future.

A gift can be of any size and needn't be cash - it could be property, a work of art, shares or another asset. The Foundation's Trustees would be delighted to discuss any ideas that you might have.

The Foundation can offer you or your lawyer guidance on appropriate wording for your will. Some suggestions can be found here.

If you have already made provision for the Ballet Foundation of New Zealand Trust, or for the Royal New Zealand Ballet, in your will, or are considering it, please let the RNZB know. The RNZB would like to keep you informed about its programme and acknowledge your generosity during your lifetime, through inclusion in the company's programmes and by involving you and your family in the company's work.

For more information about the Ballet Foundation of New Zealand Trust, or to begin a confidential discussion about making a gift in your will, please contact Liesl Nunns on 04 381 9030 or liesl@nzballet.org.nz. You may also write to the Foundation at P O Box 10 731, Wellington 6143, New Zealand.
